Chippewas bulk up with commitment of 2021 OL Caden DeWald

Central Michigan's offensive lineman room just got bigger.

On Sunday, Birmingham Seaholm offensive lineman Caden DeWald announced his commitment to Central Michigan, becoming the 13th member of the Chippewas' 2021 recruiting class. DeWald is a physical offensive guard who stands 6-foot-3 and 270 pounds.

He becomes the third offensive lineman to commit to the Chippewas in the '21 class, joining Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI) High School guard Trevor Jones and Hazelwood Central (Florissant, MO) High School tackle Kyle Long.

Currently, the Chippewas' recruiting class ranks 5th in the Mid-American Conference according to 247Sports.
