Christian Booher is a journalist working towards his degree in journalism at Central Michigan University.

Booher, who specializes in sports, is a writer who has covered numerous beats during his time at CMU. Among them, he has spent time covering volleyball, football and men’s and women’s basketball for Central Michigan Life. He also has appeared as both a guest and a co-host on CM Life’s weekly podcasts.

Starting in 2019, Booher has covered Central Michigan’s Mid-American Conference West division winning football, volleyball and women’s basketball teams, providing readers with in-depth coverage. He’s also broken multiple stories - including the transfer of Chippewa women’s basketball transfers Kate McArthur and Shine Strickland-Gills and the processing of an arrest warrant for Chippewa football player Kyron McKinnie-Harper.

Booher is also a contributing writer for 107.7 WBRN as part of the Big Rapids Daily News, providing written coverage of the teams within Central State Activities Association and Highland Conference.

He has also appeared in the Cadillac News, the Detroit News, and the Mecosta-Osceola Herald Review.
